Lenovo Group has completed the buy-back of the handset unit it sold in 2008. The company has re-acquired Lenovo Mobile Communications Technology from a group of investors for USD 200 million.

Lenovo Mobile's CEO Yang said:"Although Lenovo's smartphones development at an early stage, but we expect mobile phone business will become a new driving force for corporate profits in future."

To focus on the PC business, Lenovo Group sold its Mobile unit at 100 Million U.S. dollars in March 2008. (By Rosa)
