Vodafone UK claims to have sold over 100,000 iPhones since making the handsets available on 14 January, although the network is placing more focus on the business markets than its rivals. Vodafone UK's enterprise director Peter Kelly told V3.co.uk that it had an opportunity to attract customers who had been waiting for the device to become available on a business-focused network. He highlighted Vodafone's extensive and reliable 3G network infrastructure to support the deployment of business mission-critical apps in the field. Kelly cited the large number of available apps and the touch-based user interface as key features that make the iPhone attractive to business users. He also said that the iPhone works well with Vodafone One and Vodafone One Net unified communications services, which are targeted at enterprise and SMB customers respectively.
