AT&T customers can have an Android phone; unlocked and only $579.50

Through Negri Electronics, the HTC Hero is being advertised online and in its unlocked form, SIM-free, and with 850/1900 UMTS/HSPA connectivity for all of us AT&T cronies that desire an Android phone. About the only draw-back is the $579.50 - $585.50 sticker price. Available in either white or black this Android smartphone comes with WiFi, a 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen with multitouch browser support, 5-megapixel camera, Android 1.5 and HTC Sense.
